Merlin Papadhopuli is a senior associate in Hogan Lovells’ International Arbitration group in Paris. Merlin focuses on cross-border commercial arbitration as well as investment treaty arbitration and acts for clients from diverse industries in various countries as well as public entities in arbitrations under the major rules of arbitration and governed by various substantive laws. In particular, Merlin advises clients in the areas of oil & gas, mining, and telecommunications, with a particular focus on Africa and Southeastern Europe. Merlin studied law at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, she is a lawyer qualified in France and member of the Paris Bar Association.
Xhilda Vocaj is an associate in Dentons’ Paris office and a member of Dentons' International Arbitration group. Her practice focuses on investment treaty and commercial arbitration, public international law and arbitration-related litigation. Xhilda has advised clients on international arbitration proceedings across a variety of industries including oil and gas, telecommunications and construction sectors. In addition to acting as counsel, Xhilda has acted as secretary to arbitral tribunals in a number of commercial arbitration proceedings. Xhilda holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in International Business Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and another master’s degree from Paris Nanterre University in International and European litigation.
